Provides board books to families each month. Your gift ensures that families have books at a critical time in their children’s development when the foundation for school readiness is being set.
A donation of $40.00 provides one board book per month for a child for one year.
Provides developmental toys and basic safety and hygiene items such as diapers, wipes, laundry detergent, hand sanitizer and hand soap for mothers and children. This is a critical need for ECS families.
A donation of $25.00 provides developmental toys or safety/hygiene items for one child for one year.
Provides educational programs for moms on health, child development, and other topics that support parenting best practices in their communities. Funds are needed for babysitting services so new moms can fully participate in group activities, informational materials, videos and transportation to the group sessions. Current communities with moms’ groups include Avondale, Lincoln Heights, Corryville/Mt. Auburn, Bond Hill, and Price Hill.
A donation of $150.00 provides two hours of babysitting by a qualified provider for each two hour mom’s group.
Provides funding for families who are welfare eligible to enable them to enroll their child into a quality preschool to prepare for kindergarten. Annual pre-school costs are $15,000 per year. ECS scholarships provide “last in” funding up to $2,500 per year.
Enables Every Child Succeeds to support special needs that ECS families have such as cribs and bedding for newborns, bus passes for well-baby and other medical appointments
